Today (well, tonight) Matt Thomas apparently felt like tossing me a musical baton, and so he did. As one of his two “most loyal readers,” I faithfully answer the questions here:
Total volume of music files on my computer:
1.4 GB. I hadn’t heard of this “music” thing before I obtained my iPod 3 months ago.
The last CD I bought was:
Star Wars Episode III Soundtrack. I only buy CDs for sentimental value.
Song playing right now:
Be Yourself by Audioslave.
Five songs I listen to a lot/mean a lot to me:
An extremely truncated list.
- Evil by Interpol. I have a few other songs by ‘em that I enjoy quite a lot.
- Half-Life 2 Song #23. Yes, it’s music from the game. It’s only 43 seconds long, but it’s beautiful.
- Unwell by Matchbox Twenty. I’ve listened to this for 3 years now. Never gets old.
- Do You Realize? by The Flaming Lips. Fight Test is also good.
- Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz. Their first (ever) few songs also mean a lot to me.
Five people to whom I’m passing the baton:
Boy, this is hard. I hardly “know” anyone online…
- Dunstan Orchard – Quite an extraordinary chap who’s quite obsessed with his extraordinary puppies. Programmer + designer = Dunstan.
- Eris Free – Well, she uses Textpattern…
- The Man in Blue – Otherwise known as Cameron Adams, The Man writes a very interesting post now and then on design, trends, and interactivity.
- Joseph Pearson – Joseph’s an interesting fellow—I’ve never quite understood any of his recent posts, but they do make me stop and think.
- Alicson – I must say she’s the most fervent admirer of my site, though I’ve never figured out why. Alicson also manages a few other sites.
